World Jewish Congress (WJC) 
 An association of Jewish groups representing diverse Jewish perspectives and organisations world-wide 
 The WJC, which held its inaugural conference in Geneva in August 1936, played an important role in elaborating the Jewish response to Nazi policy and in offering relief to its victims.
